2pi TECHNOLOGIES SA– ZPMC – PCT . Arrival of three new cranes of Harbour of size Super Post Panamax
Sailed into in the 07/09/2010 in jetty II in the Port Containers Terminal (PCT) in the New Ikonio, the
boat ZHEN HUA 14 which transported from Shanghai (3) the three new cranes container, type Ship
Shore and size Super Post Panamax, that was manufactured by Chinese company ZPMC.
This cranes are the result of collaboration of 2pi TECHNOLOGIES SA with Chinese company ZPMC,
world leader in the market of cranes of harbour.
The new cranes are already assembled and have lifting faculty 65 tons each one. This new cranes
will help the efforts of PCT , who manages the installations, for the more effective management and
distribution of containers in the harbour.

Sailed in the 20/11/2009 in under manufacture pier no 1 in the SEMPO (station of containers) the OLP in the News Ikonio of Piraeus, the boat which transported the three from the four cranes containers, type Super Post Panamax, that will constitute the "heavy artillery” of PPA in his battle for the improvement of his competitiveness.
This cranes are the result of collaboration of 2pi TECHNOLOGIES SA with Chinese company ZPMC, world leader in the market of cranes of ports. For their receipt was organised ceremony from company 2pi TECHNOLOGIES SA in pier no 1 where assisted all the Administration of PPA.
The new cranes are already assembled and they will be placed in the Eastern side of the pier no 1 that remains under the management of PPA. They have height of elevation of 40 metres, lifting faculty (swl) 65 tons and 60 metres, capable it serves until 22 containers in line. The new cranes Super Post Panamax are the unique available of this size in the port of Piraeus, but also in entire the country, and will lend in the PPA a important advantage between the ports of Mediterranean
2pi TECHNOLOGIES – ZPMC – PIRAEUS PORT AUTHORITY (PPA) : Contract signing for the supply of four (4) Super Post Panamax STS Container Cranes
On November 11, 2008, the contract for the supply of four (4) Super Post Panamax Container Cranes has been signed in Piraeus, Greece. The Ship-to-Shore cranes, of open portal type, shall be installed on the new Pier No. 1 of the Piraeus Container Terminal (PPA). This agreement between ZPMC and Piraeus Port Authority is another significant achievement of 2pi Technologies SA, thus proving its significant position in the local market of material handling in Greece. The constant efforts of the PPA Management, along with the outstanding know-how of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Co. Ltd (ZPMC), are expected to lead to the implementation of the most significant project to the biggest Port of our Country, thus being another sample of the consistent effort of the PPA management towards making Piraeus Port an even more important “player” in the business of container handling. The cranes under supply, each of 65-ton capacity, shall be able to serve ships with containers laying up to 22 rows across. They shall be the bigger ever installed and made operational in any port of Greece, and they shall be the stronger production tool on the new PPA pier. With these, PPA shall give its own battle for competitiveness and market-share.
